Publishing Unique Titles Since 2001

                             Current Titles

As noted on the homepage and elsewhere, these are Adventure Books' current titles that have not yet been moved into mainstream distribution and are still being sold through Lulu.com. Some titles have been pulled while we adjust them to meet mainstream distribution publishing parameters. You can still order the active titles listed here if you wish without problems. All AB titles will be moved into wholesale distribution by July 1, 2010 and prices will be lower. If you don't want to wait for that, you can order here via Lulu.

All books are printed on 55# paper, with glossy color covers, in six-by-nine inch size, and Perfect-Bound. Some are available in hardback with dust cover.

The First Title Published by Adventure Books

Sixteen years after an astronomer discovers a habitable planet only seven light years from Earth, the crew of the Galileo Explorer tries to reach a world beyond our own.

The technology is untested. There are many unknowns, and even the press has written off the mission. In the story, the New York Times calls Galileo, '
like trying to go to the moon...during the time of Jules Verne.'

'Say Goodbye' is the ultimate space odyssey, an exciting story of survival, adventure, and a triumph of the human spirit.

Originally written in 1982, it was set aside and lost by the author after being rejected by publishers as 'too far-fetched.'

It was released more than two decades later, after a previously unknown copy was found in the author's attic. Many of the inventions and social situations used in the novel have now become reality.

Thirty added illustrations add character to this great book.

'The 13th Day of Christmas'

A new President has asked NASA to try the impossible...Send the first manned mission to the Red Planet within four years, when Mars and Earth make their closest approach in a decade.

The stakes are high for both NASA and the Canadian Space Agency, who combine forces to make it happen. As the world holds its breath, two men and one woman roll the dice in a gamble unprecented in space exploration. This novel is driven by conflict, with a stubborn mission commander versus a woman whose job it is to deliver all three safely to the Martian surface.

Research and images for '13th Day' were obtained in part from the Mars Exploration Program at NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Main character 'Anna Johnson' was inspired by real-life Canadian Chief Astronaut Julie Payette, who also received a copy in hardback.

'13th Day' was made available in the library of the John H. Chapman Space Centre in Quebec. Now you can own it here.  An exciting story of hope, courage, and survival that grabs you from the very first page. Fully illustrated.

This Is The End

Modern-day London...a group of eclectic characters once financed the construction of a huge complex below the city, as a retreat in the event of nuclear war.

None of them thought they would ever have to use it.

Welsh writer Desmond takes readers down Alice's rabbit-hole by the scruff of the neck and doesn't let go until the last page.

A superb book by an author with a limitless imagination. A best seller for the Kindle.

The Special Redux Edition of 'Robinson Crusoe'

Adventure Books has taken the complete unabridged text of 'Robinson Crusoe' and produced a more modern version.

We tried to preserve the spirit and feel of the original, while making the classic tale of survival flow more smoothly for today's readers.

This Special Redux Edition includes the original art by N.C. Wyeth from Defoe's First Edition in 1719, which are used as illustrations for the book.

Possibly the best edition of the classic story ever offered.
