The Global Warming Project

Since May of 2006, we've been recruiting your comments and thoughts for an important book.

We need a thousand.
So please help us out.

Several environmental groups, including Greenpeace and the Office of Al Gore have asked to see a proof copy of  'A Thousand Voices'  for possible endorsement. All proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to one or more of the environmental organizations listed at MSNBC's Newsvine.

Before-and-after pictures will be added to the comments from people around the globe. The pictures show the damage caused by severe climate change.
But the most important element in the book is YOU.

And it's easy for you to contribute using  our onsite Webform. It asks NO personal questions. Or you can send it to us by email.

'A Thousand Voices'
is edited by Adventure Books and the distinguished Geoff Nelder, a Post-Graduate Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society.

View Robert's appeal for submissions on the AB Videos page.

Some thoughts on what you could say for the book:

You could relate how the weather has changed where you live, or how it has affected your life.

You could tell everyone the first thing you remember seeing that made you suspect global warming was real.

We accept short fiction, under 1,500 words. Stories must strongly relate to the possible future effects of global warming. On these submissions, you MUST give your first and last name in the submission form for publication. We cannot publish anonymous stories. Better to send these to us via email. (Link near top of page)

You could comment on what you are doing to 'Go Green'.

All submissions will be published, as long as they relate to the general subject of the book.

Whether you agree global warming is real does not matter.
All submissions are published, from all points of view.

Contributions have already come from students, housewives, scientists, firefighters, even a guy stationed at a research station in Antarctica.

We keep a running total of how many comments have been received, and how many remain unfilled at the bottom of this page.

There are NO built-in length restrictions on your comments.

The webform can actually hold quite a bit of text. If you need more space, you can send your submissions directly to AB through our standard email Submissions Link.

IMPORTANT: If you email us, rather than use the webform, please put in the subject box of the email, 'Global Warming Submission' or 'GW Submission'. This will insure your contribution goes into the manuscript. The only thing we do with them is run Spellcheck. We don't edit them.

We urge you to place a link to this page on your website.
